Timur Izhbulatov’s music connects minimalistic simplicity of early electronica with rich futuristic sound of modern psychedelic electronic acts, evergreen funky grooves, aggressive rock riffs and even chiptunes.
Unlike many other electronica producers Timur doesn't focus on enriching his works with events and bizarre sound effects. Instead, Timur builds his tracks using clear and expressive yet simple parts, each having a distinct purpose and function.
Timur Izhbulatov (Russian: Тимур Ижбулатов) is a young electronic musician based in Moscow, Russia. Being also a guitar player, Timur finds his inspiration in many genres including jazz and rock.
Timur’s interest for music began in late 90’s when he started playing the guitar at the age of seventeen. At that time he didn’t have any theoretical background and drank in every scrap of music theory he could find. Very quickly he excelled his younger brother who attended local musical school. Timur continued his study of music composition privately while also attending Moscow State Institute of Radio-engineering Electronics and Automation.
At the same time Timur, a first year computer science student, started experimenting with FastTracker II on his home PC. Since then he can’t stop.
